Continuing with our summer spotlight series, this month we’re focusing on family cottages:
The Farmhouse is our largest cottage, designed for up to twelve people in the main house and a further four people in the adjoining annexe.
Ideal for bigger groups of friends or larger families, The Farmhouse has six bedrooms – four kingsize and two doubles, three of which are ensuite and a main family bathroom – and the annexe – which is all on one level – has two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a lounge.
This dog-friendly, child-friendly cottage has a range of interesting features, such as two log burning stoves, wood chip fired central heating and a large traditional farmhouse kitchen with open plan garden room.
Chelsworth is an accessible cottage (graded NAS Mobility Level 2), sleeping eight in total. The ground floor bedroom is designed to be accessible, with twin beds, a lowered bath with convenient seat and overhead shower.
Great for larger groups, this well equipped cottage has a hot tub within its very own fenced garden, a log burning stove and en-suite bathrooms. French doors open out onto the private fenced garden where you will find the hot tub as well as a barbecue and comfortable furniture.
Overlooking the lake, Constable Cottage, part of an original stable block, sleeps six people in total and is perfect for a family holiday.
With views across the Stour Valley, the garden is well equipped with a charcoal barbecue and private hot tub. Inside the cottage has wood chip fired central heating throughout, an open kitchen/dining/living area, log burning stove and private garden.
