The Best Ways to Relax in...
While Gladwins Farm is notable for its beautiful holiday cottages and countryside setting, we know that a range of activities...
Spring is among us bringing with it longer, lighter evenings, blossoming scenery and the optimism of rejuvenation. What better way to appreciate the warmer weather than from the comfort of one of our cosy award-winning cottages?
Our ten bespoke eco-friendly and dog-friendly self-catering holiday cottages are set within 22 acres of stunning Suffolk countryside. Situated in Nayland in the heart of the Stour Valley, our cottages sleep up to 16 guests. With an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tubs, a tennis court and unrivalled access to nature, Gladwins Farm is a perfect choice for a 3, 4 or 7-night relaxing break.
All but one of our cottages are dog friendly, meaning your furry friends can join the family holiday. We welcome all pets with a cosy bed, a bowl with biscuits and a placemat. The surrounding area is perfect for family dog walks, there are also lots of nearby dog-friendly beaches and pubs that we will happily point you in the direction of.
But if you don’t want to stray too far, you can take a wander around our Woodland Walk to see Spring in all its glory. Along the walk keep an eye out for the woodland animal signs and try to spot some of the creatures that call Woodland Walk their home. Like Percy the Pike for example, who can sometimes be found in the lake alongside the ducks, moorhens, herons, carp and rudd that can often be seen milling around. Be sure to look out for the special woodland animal signs dotted along Woodland Walk.
You will also have the opportunity to meet the resident animals when visiting Gladwins Farm. They love nothing more than making new friends and seeing old ones. Guests have the chance to feed our ever-grateful pigs and pygmy goats, make friends with the chickens and watch the sheep graze. There is animal feed available from our shop or you can keep hold of your scraps for the pigs to devour.
The fun is nonstop at Gladwins Farm with a wide range of activities available. Stay entertained throughout your stay by utilising our onsite facilities; play tennis, go fishing, jump as high as possible on our trampoline, splash about in our heated swimming pool or run around in our outdoor play area.
If that’s not your thing, our cottages have been fitted with personal hot tubs meaning you can relax until your heart’s content.
The tranquil rural surroundings of Gladwin Farms make it the perfect dwelling to truly absorb the beauty of nature during spring bloom with family and friends. To ensure that you don’t miss out on a place, book one of our cottages early at http://www.gladwinsfarm.co.uk/availability.html
