Going away for the first time with small children can be quite an intimidating prospect, but if your holiday destination can help provide essential equipment and entertainment this will make things easier for parents as they make preparations. Here’s what we can provide all children and parents on our cottage holidays.
When it comes to small children, entertainment is important. Here at Gladwins Farm we offer plenty of things to do in and around the cottage. We have an outdoor playground with swings, football goals and even a trampoline. We also have an all-weather tennis court, croquet equipment and lawn, play barn and an indoor pool.
For the days out and about, bring a comfy blanket, which you can let your children relax on. If you’re going to the beach, a small pop up tent or umbrella to create a bit of shade will be useful for when you want to give them a break from the sun. Don’t forget a high factor sun cream and a few sun hats as well. We have a Woodland Walk where you can take your children and see the fishing lake and several wildlife.
At the end of the day when the children are asleep you can reward yourself with alone time as we can arrange a CRB checked, babysitter for you. Alternatively, if you’d prefer to stay in the cottage we can provide a baby monitor so you’ll be able to hear when they wake up.
If your young child is quite energetic, it could be worth bringing some reigns for when you’re out and about.
On top of the entertainment we offer, we can also provide you with items like cots, highchairs, baby bath and sterilisers. We also provide each cottage with baby bowls, plates and cutlery. Emergency baby pack is available, such as nappies and wipes as well as swimming nappies for when they want to take a dip in the pool.
If you’re in the mood for a holiday with lots of outdoor space and activities, places to visit nearby and complete privacy, book a cottage holiday with Gladwins Farm today.
