We are an excellent base for any sort of holiday. You mustn't miss Constable Country's heritage villages; Kersey, Lavenham and Chelsworth are famous for half-timbered medieval houses and find 'wool churches' or Long Melford, renowned for its antique shops and the National Trust's Melford Hall.

Bustling Colchester, Britains oldest recorded town, is only 10 minutes away, or you could venture further afield and discover Cambridge's colleges or Norwich castle. Nayland is on the doorstep; its shops, Post Office, pub and restaurant are set in a jumble of colour-washed houses with overhanging eaves and an obelisk for a milestone.
