Our woodland walk provides the perfect setting to see springtime in its finest form, enabling you to absorb the real beauty of the blossoming scenery all around you and liberate the stress and pressures of everyday life. We are situated amongst the Stour Valley meaning that there are no shortages of glorious routes for walking or bike rides, we were recently presented with the ‘Cyclist and Walkers Welcome’ Award.
Spring is a time for animal lovers, and Gladwins Farm is certainly thriving with all types of wonderful creatures. Take a walk through the woodlands and you will likely see owls, squirrels badgers and woodpeckers to name but a few, but wildlife doesn’t stop there. You can also visit the fishing lake packed with all sorts of beautiful flying and swimming creatures such as ducks, herons, carp and rudd.
A visit to the farm will provide you the opportunity to meet all the resident animals who love nothing more than to meet new friends and see old ones. Guests have the chance to feed our ever-grateful pigs and pygmy goats along with opportunity to meet and befriend all of the friendly horses and sheep, an experience that guests of all ages always enjoy.
All but one of our cottages are dog friendly, ensuring that no one gets left out of your trip! We welcome them with a cosy bed, a dog bowl with biscuits and a place mat. The local area is perfect for family dog walks, with an abundance of beautiful walking routes for you to engross yourself in the springtime wildlife whilst your dog hurtles around the open space.
